East Jericho Turnpike [5-17-15]

On the morning of Sunday, May 17th, 2015 the Mineola Fire Department held a multi department drill at the former Entenmann’s building on East Jericho Turnpike. Also at the drill were units from the Williston Park and East Williston Fire Departments. Firefighters acted as though they had fire inside of the one story warehouse and in doing so were able to practice various techniques. Among them: cutting locks and doors, hose stretching, and ladder placement among other things. All fire department units were under the command of Mineola Chief of Department Jeffrey Clark [1600].
