Jericho Turnpike [5-20-18]

On the evening of Sunday, May 20th, 2018 the Mineola Fire Department responded to a multi vehicle accident on Jericho Turnpike east of Willis Avenue. One of the vehicles involved in the accident crashed into a photography/videography studio on the north side of Jericho Turnpike trapping the driver of the Lexus sedan. First responders had to breach a wall to access the driver who was not seriously injured. Mineola Heavy Rescue 1610 removed the vehicle from the building which sustained significant damage. Mineola Volunteer Ambulance Corps and Nassau County Police ESU were also on scene.
