Jericho Turnpike [7-22-22]

In the early morning hours of Friday, July 22nd, 2022, the Mineola Fire Department operated on the scene of a motor vehicle accident with overturn on Jericho Turnpike between Willis Avenue and Mineola Boulevard. The lone vehicle involved in the accident crashed through a construction site for the new Mineola Fire Department headquarters before overturning. The driver, the only occupant inside the vehicle, was not trapped or seriously injured. Firefighters secured the vehicle before being released from the scene. All fire department units were under the command of Mineola First Assistant Chief Magalhaes [1601].
