Mineola Boulevard [10-20-22]

In the early morning hours of Thursday, October 20th, 2022, the Mineola Fire Department along with mutual aid companies operated on the scene of a signal ten [working fire] on Mineola Boulevard off Garfield Avenue. Firefighters stretched one hand line for a fire on the second floor of a two-story commercial building. The fire was quickly knocked down and its cause is under investigation. The run was originally received as an automatic fire alarm. Mineola Chief of Department Martone [1600] had command of the incident.
