NCFSA Leadership Seminar [6-9-16]
On the night of Thursday, June 9th, 2016 the Nassau County Fire Service Academy held the ninth and final session of its leadership seminar series. The “course is comprised of nine independent sessions that are designed to provide knowledge and resources to the current and future leaders of the Nassau County Fire Service. Once the student has taken the initial session they are free to attend all subsequent sessions at their own pace. Panels of expert speakers are comprised of law enforcement, military, utilities, EMS, Fire Marshals and others. Those who attended all nine three-hour sessions received a certificate for their achievement and are pictured in this gallery. For the ninth and final night the speaker was Chief John J. Salka, Jr. – a 29 year FDNY veteran and former battalion chief in the Bronx.
