Hatcher Court [12-28-18]

Late on the night of Friday, December 28th, 2018 the North Amityville Fire Company was called to a house fire on Hatcher Court off Route 110. Moments after the first fire department units were on scene a working fire was trnamsitted for a fire in a vacant private dwelling under construction. North Amityville Engine 1-7-10 was the first engine to arrive on scene. Two hand lines were stretched with one line put into operation resulting in a quick knockdown of the fire. Amityville and Copiague were among the departments called for mutual aid. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
