Merrick Avenue [6-12-19]

Around 03:00 hours on the morning of Wednesday, June 12th, 2019 the North Merrick Fire Department operated on the scene of a single vehicle accident with overturn on Merrick Avenue over the Southern State Parkway. There was no entrapment and the driver was the only occupant inside the vehicle. That driver was not seriously injured and after being evaluated by medical personnel was taken into custody on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. All fire department units were under the command of North Merrick Chief of Department Rob Presti [6700].
