Chuck Varese Tournament [5-12-18]

The Northport Fire Department hosted the 11th annual Chuck Varese Vehicle Extrication Tournament on Saturday, May 12th at the Northport Fire Department training grounds. The annual event is held in memory of Northport Firefighter Chuck Varese who was hit and killed by a drug impaired driver while riding his motorcycle in 2008. Several departments from both Nassau and Suffolk Counties were on hand for the event to put their skills to the test. At the end of the day the top three were East Northport, Commack, and Selden.
