Northport Installation [5-18-19]

The Northport Fire Department held its 130th annual installation dinner on the night of Saturday, May 18th, 2019 at the Huntington Crescent Club. After the pledge of allegiance and invocation came the chief’s message from Chief John Jacobsen. Once his speech concluded came the introduction of guests, chief’s oaths of office, department officer’s oaths of office, and lastly department and company awards. The department awards recognized members for achieving 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, and 55 years of service. The companies recognized the firefighter/member of the year. Leading the department for 2019 – 2020 will be Chief of Department John Jacobsen, First Assistant Chief Dennis Sheridan, and Second Assistant Chief Douglas Pyne. Congratulations to those awarded and good luck to those installed into office.
