Cole Bros Circus [7-30-12]
Every year the Cole Bros. Circus comes to Fireman’s Field off Mott Street in Oceanside for a three night performance. In past years, the Oceanside Fire Department has been included with the circus when they get the opportunity to hose down the elephants. This year was no exception with the department sending Engine 246 and Ladder 244 to do the honors. The engine company put a line into place while the tower ladder hit the elephants, baby included, from above. The elephants were brought out just after ten thirty on the morning of July 30th and fifteen minutes later were ready for the show later that night. Thanks to Ed Scharfberg and the Oceanside FD for having K2M on hand for the event.
