Long Beach Road [5-16-16]

Late on the night of Monday, May 16th, 2016 the Rockville Centre Fire Department was alerted to a truck fire on South Long Beach Road. Due to the close proximity of the border with Oceanside the second battalion department was also notified. When firefighters arrived on scene they were met with a working truck fire outside of Oceanside Institutional [2525 Long Beach Road]. Rockville Centre Engine 444 stretched and operated two lines to put out the fire. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
