Oceanside Ladder Dedication [11-13-11]

The Oceanside Fire Department officially dedicated their two new Seagrave Ladders on November 13th. The Ladders, 244 and 2442, are housed out of headquarters on Foxhurst Road - also where the day's ceremony was held. Ladder 244 was the first to be attained by the OFD in 2010, with 2442 having been delivered in the fall of 2011. The twin Seagraves replace the Pierce models that came before them. On hand for the ceremony was Elmont, Baldwin, Island Park, and Valley Stream. Oceanside Engines 246 and 247 were also present. The best of luck to the Oceanside Fire Department with their newly acquired apparatus.
