Hampton Road [2-25-20]

On the evening of Tuesday, February 25th, 2020 the Oceanside Fire Department operated on the scene of an RV trailer fire on Hampton Road off Royal Avenue. Two hand lines were stretched with at least one line put into operation resulting in a quick knockdown of the fire. The occupant of the trailer made it out safely; however, one pet did not. Nassau County Hazmat was requested to the scene for multiple propane tanks either involved or near the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
