Pine Street [4-18-21]

Late on the morning of Sunday, April 18th, 2021 the Oceanside Fire Department was called to a house fire on Pine Street off Oceanside Road. When firefighters arrived on scene, they were met with a fire in the solar panels on the roof of a two and a half story private dwelling. After further investigation crews found extension into the attic of the home and a signal ten [working fire] was transmitted. Firefighters put two hand lines into operation and had the fire quickly knocked down once all utilities were secured. All occupants made it safely out of the home and the cause of the fire is under investigation. All fire department units were under the command of Oceanside Chief of Department Joseph Caroccia [241].
