Wednesday, January 13th, 2021: the Oceanside Fire Department operated on the scene of a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Atlantic and Rockaway Avenues. The crash sent one vehicle into PC Richard and Son resulting in minor structural damage to the store. Two people were evaluated by medical personnel on scene and went on to refuse medical attention.
![Monday, November 3rd, 2014: the Oceanside Fire Department was dispatched to a reported electrical fire inside of a maintenance building in Oceanside Park [3800 Mahlon Brower Boulevard]. When units arrived on scene they were met with a smoke condition inside of the building because of a transformer shorting out and to some degree exploding. Members of Oceanside Truck Company used dry chemical extinguishers to contain the fire that was present. One line was stretched off Engine 246 in case it was discovered that the fire extended outside of the transformer.
