Summit Court [2-18-23]

In the early morning hours of Saturday, February 18th, 2023, the Plainview Fire Department operated on the scene of a signal ten [working fire] on Summit Court in the dead end off Summit Street. Firefighters stretched three hand lines and put two hand lines into operation for a fire in the basement of a two-story group home with extension to the first floor. All occupants made it safely out of the residence and the cause of the fire is under investigation. Bethpage, Syosset and Melville were among the Departments called for mutual aid.
