Allen Road [12-7-17]

Shortly after 06:00 hours on the morning of Thursday, December 7th, 2017 the Rockville Centre Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident with overturn and possible entrapment in front on Allen Boulevard off Hempstead Avenue. Those first to arrive on scene were met with a two-vehicle accident with one vehicle overturned and the driver still inside of the overturned auto. Firefighters were able to remove the driver, who was not seriously injured, through the already damaged windshield. The other vehicle involved in the accident was parked at the time of the crash. Firefighters secured both vehicles before being released from the scene. All fire department units were under the command of Rockville Centre Chief of Department Brian Cook [4401].
