Eugene Murray Funeral [4-6-19]

On Saturday, April 6th, 2019 a funeral was held for former Rockville Centre Mayor Eugene J. Murray who passed away on April 2nd at the age of 93. Murray is the father of current mayor [Francis Murray], owned a floor waxing service in town for many years, was very active in the community and served over sixty years with the Rockville Centre Fire Department. He served in the chief’s office from 1977 to 1983 and his Saturday morning funeral was held at St. Agnes Cathedral. Eugene Murray is survived by his many children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
