Prospect Street [8-22-15]

Late on the afternoon of Saturday, August 22nd, 2015 Roosevelt firefighters along with mutual aid units operated on the scene of a signal ten [working fire]. The fire was in a one and a half story private dwelling on Prospect Street [between Frederick Avenue and Elizabeth Street]. Those first to arrive on scene were met with fire showing from the one and four sides of residence. The main body of fire was quickly knocked down because it could extend further. Among the departments called for mutual aid were Uniondale and Hempstead.
