Washington Avenue [12-2-21]

On the morning of Thursday, December 2nd, 2021, the Roosevelt Fire Department was called to a car fire next to a residence on Washington Avenue off Lakeside Drive. When firefighters arrived on scene, they were met with a confirmed car fire. One hand line was stretched and operated off Roosevelt Engine 732 and the fire was quickly knocked down. There was no extension to any homes; however, a detached garage sustained minor damage.
