Fiola Funeral [7-27-19]

On July 21st, 2019 seventy-six-year-old Roslyn Rescue Hook and Ladder Company No. 1 Ex-Chief Alfred Fiola passed away after a battle with cancer. Chief Fiola, known as Freddy to many in the company, joined Roslyn Rescue in 1970 and was active until his final days. His wake was held on Friday, July 26th at the Roslyn Heights Funeral Home. The funeral was held on the morning of Saturday, July 27th at St. Mary’s Church followed by interment at the Roslyn Cemetery in Greenvale.
