Old Northern Boulevard [5-20-20]

On the evening of Wednesday, May 20th, 2020 the Roslyn Fire Companies operated on the scene of an overturned tractor trailer with entrapment. The accident was located on Old Northern Boulevard off West Shore Road. Firefighters cut through the windshield and steering wheel to access the driver. Once removed the driver was placed into Roslyn Rescue Ambulance 561 and then transported to an area hospital. He was said to have sustained minor injuries. There were no other occupants in the truck which appeared to be carrying fruit. There were no other vehicles involved and the cause is under investigation.
