Merrick Road [3-31-20]

Late on the night of Tuesday, March 31st, 2020 Seaford firefighters operated on the scene of a truck fire. The incident was located behind an auto repair shop located at the corner of Merrick Road and Mattituck Avenue. Firefighters stretched two hand lines off Seaford Engine 682. One of these hand lines was put into operation with along with a booster line off Seaford Engine 681. The main body of fire was quickly knocked down there and was no extension to any structures or other vehicles. All fire department units were under the command of Seaford Chief of Department Bellissimo [6800].
