Seaford Installation [10-1-21]

The Seaford Fire Department held its 121st annual installation dinner on the night of Friday, October 1st, 2021. The night began with introductory remarks by Commissioner Silvio Bellissimo. The Salute to the Flag was led by Ex-Chief Paul Lochner, Ex-Chief George Kern was the Master of Ceremonies for the event, and Father Joseph Fitzgerald led both the invocation and benediction. Outgoing Chief Michael Bellissimo addressed those present and was also the recipient of various presentations from his department and surrounding fire departments. Thomas deHaan, the current Chief of Department, made a few remarks as well. In the Seaford Chiefs Office with Chief deHaan is First Assistant Chief Keith Kern and Second Assistant Chief Thomas Cottone. The installation of line officers and presentation of service awards took place earlier in the year.
