Uniondale Avenue [5-26-15]

On the morning of May 26th, 2015 the Uniondale Fire Department was dispatched to a car versus a house with possible fire at 451 Uniondale Avenue [off of Goodrich Street]. Those first to arrive on scene found that a car had in fact struck a house leading to a fire in the engine compartment. Using water cans the fire was knocked down preventing further extension. One person was transported from the scene to an area hospital.
