Saturday, November 13th, 2021: During the strong thunderstorms that rolled across Long Island the Uniondale Fire Dept. was called to a roof collapse on Liberty Street. When firefighters arrived on scene, they were met with a large section of a roof that came off of a two-story private dwelling, hit and a put a hole in a neighbor’s garage roof, grazed the neighbor’s cars, and then landed on their lawn. Fortunately, there were no injuries.
