Nassau Road [10-14-17]

Shortly after midnight on Saturday, October 14th, 2017 the Uniondale Fire Department was dispatched to a car versus pole with possible pin and fire on Nassau Road off Northern Parkway. When firefighters arrived on scene they were met with a single vehicle accident with a fire that was extinguished prior to the fire department’s arrival. Despite the vehicle going through a pole and striking a tree there was no entrapment and the two occupants received minor injuries. The location of the accident was corrected to across from 635 Nassau Road and all fire department units were under the command of Uniondale Chief of Department Smith [7500].
