Elm Place [7-21-18]

Firefighters operated on the scene of a house fire on Elm Place [off Paff Avenue] in Uniondale on the morning of Saturday, July 21st, 2018. The fire was first reported shortly before seven a.m. and all occupants were able to safely make it out of the home. Uniondale Engine 752 was the first engine company to arrive on scene and went on to stretch two lines with at least one going into operation. North Bellmore was designated the FAST for the operation. Additional mutual aid was provided by Freeport, Roosevelt, Hempstead, and South Hempstead among others. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
