Hempstead Boulevard [7-1-18]

On the night of Sunday, July 1st, 2018 firefighters operated on the scene of a second alarm house fire on Hempstead Boulevard in Uniondale. At least three hand lines were stretched and put into operation off first due Uniondale Engine 7533. Among the departments mutual aided were Freeport, Hempstead, Roosevelt, and North Bellmore. The cause of the fire is under investigation and all fire department units were under the command of Uniondale First Assistant Chief John Skelly [7501].
