Lowell Road [6-19-19]

On the evening of Wednesday, June 19th, 2019 the Uniondale Fire Department operated on the scene of a signal ten [working fire] at a home on Lowell Road off Midwood Street. The main body of fire was in the basement of a two-story private dwelling. Firefighters put one hand line into operation off Uniondale Engine 7522 and quickly contained the fire. North Bellmore was designated the FAST but was disregarded along with the other mutual aid units once all visible fire was knocked down. The cause of the fire is under investigation and all fire department units were under the command of Uniondale Chief of Department John Skelly [7500].
