New Street [5-22-20]

On Friday, May 22nd, 2020 the Uniondale Fire Department was called to a motor vehicle accident with overturn at the intersection of Uniondale Avenue and New Street. When fire department units arrived on scene, they found the accident on New Street east of Uniondale Avenue. There were two vehicles involved in the accident [one parked and unoccupied at the time of impact], one vehicle overturned, and negative entrapment. The driver of the overturned vehicle [the only occupant inside the auto] was evaluated on scene and went on to refuse medical attention. Firefighters secured both vehicles before being released from the scene.
