Dean Street [11-7-18]

Valley Stream firefighters operated on the scene of a signal ten [working fire] on the night of Wednesday, November 7th, 2018. The fire was in the walls of a home on Dean Street between Broadway and Green Street. Malverne was designated the FAST for the operation and responded with Ladder 434. Elmont was notified for an additional truck company to the scene and responded with Ladder 707. Firefighters put at least one hand line into operation resulting in a quick knock down of the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation and all fire department units were under the command of Valley Stream Chief of Department Croak [3400].
