Valley Stream Engine 342 100th Anniversary Dinner [10-22-22]

To commemorate a century of service Valley Stream Engine Company No. 2 held a dinner and dance on the night of Saturday, October 22nd, 2022 – the same date that the Company was organized. Honorary Chief Gerard Friel began with the introductory remarks before turning the program over to Company Captain Jason Croak. During the program presentations were made to members of the Company with fifty years of service and greater, members who have recently achieved other milestone years of service, and who have recently served as Captain of Engine 2. Presentations were made to Engine 2 by the other Companies of the Valley Stream Fire Department, the Valley Stream Chiefs Office, the Chiefs of Engine 1, and Lynbrook Tally Ho Engine Company No. 3 [the Company that Engine 2 was once a part of in its early days]. Congratulations to Engine 2 – wishing you many more years of service!
