Blue Spruce Lane [8-23-18]

The Wantagh Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire at 1490 Blue Spruce Lane on the evening of Thursday, August 23rd, 2018. When firefighters arrived on scene they were met with smoke showing from a two story [split level] private dwelling. An electrical fire was located on the number three side of the home and PSEG was requested on a rush to the scene. Once the utility company arrived on scene firefighters were able to fully contain the fire and open up to check for extension. Wantagh Engine 698 was the first engine to arrive on scene and two hand lines were stretched during the operation.
