Mandalay Beach Road [2-16-17]

At 05:23 hours on the morning of Thursday, February 16th, 2017 the Wantagh Fire Department was dispatched to a reported house fire on Seaford Court off Mandalay Beach Road. When fire department units arrived on scene they found 2672 Mandalay Beach Road [a two-story private dwelling] fully involved with all occupants safely out of the home. Firefighters immediately went to an exterior attack using multiple hand lines and the bucket of Ladder 6911. Seaford was designated the FAST for the operation and responded with Ladder 683. During the operation firefighters encountered collapses of different parts of the home and a gas fed fire. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Nassau County Fire Marshals Office.
