4th Avenue [8-4-20]

On the night of Tuesday, August 4th, 2020 the Westbury Fire Department operated on the scene of a working fire at a home on 4th Avenue off 6th Street. The fire, located in a bedroom on the first floor of a two-story private dwelling, was quickly knocked down using one hand line. Jericho was designated the FAST and responded to the scene with Ladder 941. Also, on scene was an ambulance from Mineola VAC. The cause of the fire is under investigation and all fire department units were under the command of Westbury Chief of Department Kenny Gass [9601].
