Magnolia Avenue [3-20-23]

On the evening of Monday, March 20th, 2023 the Westbury Fire Department along with mutual aid companies operated on the scene of a working fire on Magnolia Avenue between Grand Boulevard and Main Street. Firefighters stretched two hand lines and put at least one hand line into operation for a fire in a one story commercial building that housed an automotive repair facility and a countertop fabricator. The fire was quickly knocked down and its cause is under investigation. There were no reported injuries, and all fire department units were under the command of Westbury First Assistant Chief Stewart [9602].
