Merrick Avenue [2-24-17]

On the afternoon of Friday, February 24th, 2017 the Westbury Fire Department operated on the scene of a motor vehicle accident with overturn and entrapment in front of TGI Friday’s at the corner of Merrick Avenue and Corporate Drive. Westbury firefighters and members of the Nassau County Police Emergency Services Unit extricated the driver of the sedan involved in the accident. Altogether there were a total of four vehicles involved in the accident: a Ford van, a sedan, and two box trucks – one of which overturned. All fire department units were under the command of Westbury Chief of Department Bartunek [9601].
