Ring Road [4-2-22]

On the afternoon of Saturday, April 2nd, 2022, the Westbury Fire Department along with Nassau County Police ESU and EAB operated on the scene of a motor vehicle accident with overturn on Ring Road in front of Bloomingdale’s at the Roosevelt Field Mall. There was up to four vehicles involved in the accident [one of them overturned] and at least two people transported from the scene to an area hospital. Despite the vehicles being scattered over a large area there was no extrication needed. Westbury firefighters secured the vehicles and assisted with the aided before being released from the scene. Fire department units were under the command of Westbury Chief of Department Carr [9601].
