Sylvester Street [9-3-22]

The Westbury Fire Department was called to a structure fire at the intersection of Sylvester Street and Park Avenue on the afternoon of Saturday, September 3rd, 2022. Those first to arrive on scene were met with a shed and rubbish fire in the yard of a mutli-family residence on Sylvester Street closer to Prospect Avenue. Firefighters put one hand line into operation off Westbury Engine 965 and had the fire quickly knocked down. There were no exposure issues and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
